Computer Repair

More Information:

When I recieved my A+ certification I didn't know what exactly to use it for. So I put an ad in the paper to do computer repair for extremely low prices (so I could get more practice). I did it for about a year or so until I got too busy. Soon after, a friend of mine name Kingsley got his A+ certification and we started a business called "Marking Computer Technicians." Marking was a combination of our first names. We were doing OK for a while, but we ended up selling the business and going our separate ways. He became a pilot and I decided to pursue programming.

Now I still build and repair computers for my neighbors and people who are local. I do not advertise any more. I get all of my clients through word of mouth and I usually fix or build about three or four computers each week. I don't really like working on really old computers (windows 98/95) because new computers are really cheap. When ever I come across a computer like that I try to convice the person to buy one or let me get cheap parts and build one for them.
